Cable giant Comcast is hoping to have its $30 billion merger with NBC Universal approved by the FCC and Justice Department antitrust regulators by early next year. The deal has faced criticism and skepticism from media watchdog and consumer groups. Comcast has always said that the merger will be good for consumers.
