Netflix has been struggling to figure out how to continue to grow as a company while continuing to adapt to both new technologies and current customer needs. The company started as a DVD mailing service, but eventually incorporated online streaming of entertainment into its offerings. Initially, both sides of the business were connected, but now Netflix is rolling out changes that separate the two services. Netflix will continue to be the name of the streaming service, while the DVD mailing business will be named Qwikster.
Google is quickly moving forward on its robot car business venture. The company says the car is still in its testing phase, but it is already working on legislation in at least one state in order to test more cars.
Whether reality TV star Kim Kardashian is seen in a good or a bad light depends on whom you ask. The tabloid queen seems to always be in the news, often for posing nude. At least one blogger, however, sees her as a "money-making genius." A blog by Jenna Goudreau that appeared in Forbes online talks about how Kardashian has launched several business ventures out of her role on reality TV.
